Worship and Building Use Update

Dear Pilgrims,

We wrote to you in March to update you on plans for worship and building use.  Generally, what we reported at that time remains true: we do not plan to have large-group in-Sanctuary worship this spring, nor other large-group in-building gatherings.  We have planned outdoor services for May 16 and June 6, and we are working on a mix of outdoor, indoor, and hybrid worship gatherings for the summer.  However, we remain encouraged by trends in vaccination rates (up!) and infection rates (beginning to trend down!).  This gives us great hope about welcoming folks into the sanctuary in September.  We are preparing for this with research into air circulation and other safety protocols.  We also remain committed to permanently offering live, online access to worship.  We are preparing for this by acquiring and testing the necessary equipment. We will also be working with families to understand the best approach to our educational ministries this fall.
