A gift of church life is the opportunity to be part of a Christian community—sharing common values, working for justice, and gathering to worship God. We offer ways to ask burning questions and develop friendships that will sustain you.
At Pilgrim, there are many opportunities to work together in service and gather in fellowship. We offer numerous ways to share your skills and talents in the service of God and the community. We welcome you to get involved: through our adult programs, youth group, or children’s education; local, national, and international mission work; helping with our annual pumpkin patch fundraiser; or praising God by singing in our choir or playing an instrument. Everyone is invited to our church-wide social events throughout the year. Pilgrim has many committees that focus on specific areas of church life. If you see a group that will deepen your relationship with God and our congregation, do not hesitate to join.
We encourage you to speak to our Pastor or Vitality Committee if you are interested in becoming a Pilgrim Church member. Members are eligible to serve on Church Council and can vote on matters that affect policies, practices, and directions in our church. Our doors and hearts are open to everyone, but as a member, you openly commit to support the church as much as the church supports you. New Member gatherings are typically held twice a year. Together we can discuss your faith journey, Pilgrim, and the UCC and discern if you would like to become a member of our congregation. New members are welcomed into the congregation during a Worship Service.
We hope you will consider becoming part of our Pilgrim family!
