April 2 – Palm/Passion Sunday Service – We will consider how Jesus dealt with his anguish and grief – with very special music by our Choir. Worship in the Sanctuary and on Zoom. In person attendees: we’ll start outside, weather permitting. Zoom Attendees: grab some green branches and get ready to join the parade from home!
In this service we will travel through Holy Week, from a palm parade to the Last Supper and Jesus’ arrest.  Special music includes the Pie Jesu and Agnus Dei movements from Faure’s Requiem.
April 6 – Maundy Thursday Service – Service of Tenebrae, in the Sanctuary and on Zoom. Our Choir will lead us in sacred song, and we will observe a traditional service of Communion and Tenebrae.

LENT MISSION PROJECT
Dignity Matters Hygiene Product Drive. Bring Supplies by March 26!

PERSONAL & FAMILY DEVOTIONAL AVAILABLE
There’s a lovely devotional available to the congregation that goes along with our theme. This is available in print at church, and by request – just email Sarah or Pastor Reebee!

ACCESSIBILITY
Please contact Pastor Reebee if you are a Zoom attendee and want to participate in one of the activities we’re planning. We’ll do our best to accommodate!  We’re also committed to making sure that all of our embodied practices are possible for people of all body types.

Our Theme for Lent 2023 is based on An Illustrated Lent for Families: This is My Body which explores how Jesus lived in his body on earth and invites us to take care of—and embrace the goodness of—our own bodies. We will have special devotional material available for pickup. The liturgy and devotional materials from Illustrated Ministry are used with license permission through purchase from Illustrated Ministry.

In an interview with Lexington Local, Pastor Reebee describes Pilgrim Church – from music to inclusion to pumpkins!
