March is International Women’s Month. To celebrate, Pilgrim will continue to hold its annual Dignity Matters supply drive. This year, Pilgrim, Lexington Neighbor Brigade, and a new partner, Keller Williams Boston Northwest Realty, are teaming up for the supply drive from Sunday, March 3rd to Sunday, March 31st!
Dignity Matters is a non-profit organization assisting women and girls who are homeless or living in poverty with a reliable supply of monthly menstrual care products and underwear, improving health and confidence. Please consider contributing!
Tampons and undergarments are greatly needed. Underwear must be new with tags or in the original packaging. Bras can be new or very gently used. All sanitary products are welcome but they must be new and individually wrapped.
There are several collection points. At Pilgrim there is a box inside the narthex and a receptacle outside the front doors. Thanks to Keller Williams Boston Northwest and Realtor Harshini Joshi, there are three additional collection sites at Keller Williams offices. These include Lexington, 1 Militia Drive, Suite 204/Heritage Building; Concord, 200 Baker Avenue, Suite 205; and Cambridge, 186 Alewife Brook Parkway. Questions? Please email welcome@pilgrimcongregational.org or lisapboehm@gmail.com.
Thank you for sharing some love and dignity with women in need.
